What is Green/Natural Burial
Simply put, natural burial is burial how it was done when the cemetery was formed in 1877. Burial without embalming, or vaults with a simple casket or shroud. Natural burial avoids environmental degradation due to the leaching of embalming chemicals into the environment, consumes far fewer resources and less energy than current traditional burial or cremation.
